Though Robert has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Bernard and Mildred Luca Bernard; and his brothers, Joseph and John Bernard. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Hassey Bernard; his children, Gary Bernard of Cleveland and Lori DeNiro (Frank) of Canfield; his sister Theresa Ciavarella of Boardman; and his caregiver Debbie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Church (764 5th St, Struthers, OH 44471). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
