He was predeceased by : his parents, John Ansevin and Helen Ansevin (Vass); his wife Dorothy L. Ansevin; his daughter Rhonda Pettit (Kevin); his brother Raymond Ansevin (Clair); and his brother-in-law Larry Hellem.

He is survived by : his daughters, Athena Ansevin of Struthers, OH and Rene Edgell of Struthers, OH; his grandchildren, Tammy Pettit of Lowellville, OH and Dan McGaw (Meredith DiGeorge) of Orlando, FL; his great grandchildren, Nolan, Bruce, Anthony, Matthew, Derrick and Sean; and his sister Joan Hellem of McDonald, OH..
