He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Gotshall of Stryker; his daughters, Christina Dean of Bryan and Laura Roth (Kyle) of Delaware, Ohio; his grandchildren, Brandon Dean (Claire), Zachary Dean (Erin Connolly), Austin Dean, Mara Roth, Hayden Roth and Blake Roth; his siblings, Joe Hancock (Bev) of Stryker and Sandy Stratton (Kent) of Bryan; and his siblings-in-law, Teresa Hancock of Stryker, DeWayne Gotshall (Barb) of Angola and Dave Herman of West Chester, Ohio..
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorial contributions be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church, St. Patrick Catholic School, or the Fresenius Kidney Care Regional Dialysis Center of Williams County.
