He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Jim" E. Ruffer and Mildred "Midge" E. Ruffer (Rittenhouse). He is survived by: his sons, Stacy Ruffer (Kara), Errin Ruffer (Ashley), Alex Ruffer (Chiara) and Amos Ruffer (Jean Tsai); his former wife Dawn Guilford (Auby); his stepchildren, Dani Sidle (Jake Garvin) and Tyson Sidle; his grandchildren, Ryan, McKenzie, Rigby, Gideon, Noah, Elena, Claire, Avery, Emory, Audrey, Bradley, Jozlynn and Sydney; and his siblings, Mike Ruffer and Lisa John (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grisier Funeral Home - Stryker (109 S Defiance St, Stryker, OH 43557). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Williams County Humane Society or the Stryker American Legion.
