We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 73, Charles F. Gordon Jr. of Sugar Grove, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Barbara Louwana Gordon Sr. (Freeman); his grandson Zachariah Courtright; his son-in-law Jim Courtright; and his brother David Gordon. He is survived by: his father Charles Franklin; his wife Edna Gordon (Barnett); his children, Louwana Hoops (Steven) of New Lexington, Rebecca Courtright of Logan, Betty Butcher (Steven) of Lancaster and Charles Gordon III (Lisa) of Bremen; his siblings, Dennis Gordon, Judy Selby, Mary McGrady (Bill) and Lynn Gordon; and his close friend Buck. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cardaras Funeral Home (183 E 2nd St, Logan, OH 43138). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the Mt. Olive Cemetery.
