He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Strope and Mary Strope (Mermon); and his siblings, Thump Strope, Brenda Smitsky, Gini Cunningham (Tom) and Sheri Esno.
He is survived by: his wife Micaela "Micki" Strope; his children, Gary Strope (Janine), Dan Strope (Jennifer) of Todd Strope, D. J, Jessica Parker (Jon) and Ethan Strope (Leah); his grandchildren, Jordan O'Brien (Jack), Kaitlyn, Logan, Lauren, Samantha, Sydney, Sophia, Eva, Lincoln, Lucas Strope, Jake and Hannah Parker; his siblings, Tom (Judy), Pete Strope (Jackie) and Janet Jeffrey (Wayne); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Strope, Stush Esno and Bob Smitsky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
