He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Welsch and Blanche Edna Welsch (Hines); his wife Beverly Ann Welsch (Christopher); his brother Robert Welsch; and his brother-in-law David Christopher.
He is survived by: his daughter Rev. Beth Westphal (Dave) of Tiffin; his grandchildren, Kristen Westphal, Aaron Westphal (Tomnica) and Sarah Westphal; his daughter Amy Stephens (Tim) of Waynesville; his grandchildren, Katie Hukari (Brian), Ben Stephens and Josh Stephens; his daughter Jennie Arbogast (Greg) of Dover; his grandchildren, Frankie, Leigh and Julianna Arbogast; his sister Carol Watercutter (Jim); his sister-in-law Faye Welsch; and his pet Cat Hemingway.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Killbuck Cemetery (298 School St, Killbuck, OH 44637).
