It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Paul Frutig of Sugarcreek, Ohio, born in Dover, Ohio, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred F. "Fritz" and Doris Frutig Gary (Arnold); and his brother-in-law Ron Zahner. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Debra VanFossen (Greg) of Tuscarawas, Dawn Speedy (Nick) of Conway, SC and Clayton Chavez (Jordan) of Chicago, IL; and his siblings, LuAnn Zahner of Dundee and Michael Frutig (Judy) of Dover. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
