Janet left this world on January 8, 2026 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her mother Blanche Lapp Foster (Dennis Earl Fender); her son-in-law John Scherer; her grandson Christopher Scherer; her great grandchild Wesley Adam Robb; her siblings, Lewis Foster, James Foster, Irene McNichols and Frances Erman; her brothers-in-law, Patrick McNichols, Jack McNeal, Joseph Erman and James Crouso; her niece Annette Erman; and her nephews, David McNichols and Jeffrey Crouso.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Earl Fender; her children, Cheryl Scherer (late John), William Fender (Terri) and Steven Fender (Veronica); her siblings, Mary Crouso, Barbara McNeal and Harold Foster (Brenda); her sisters-in-law, Alice Foster and Ruth Foster; her grandchildren, Stephanie Lorenz (Mark), Jason Scherer (Deana), Sara Sargent (Steve), Trace Fender (Molly), Brooke Hamilton (Levi), Joey Hall (Carmen), Jenna Beth Schwartz, Dennis Fender (Chasta), Betsy Robb (Adam) and Emily Newman (Josh); her great grandchildren, Nick, Joel Lorenz, Brodie Scherer (Ashlynd), Brendan Scherer (Tamera), Piper Scherer, Doyle, Porter Sargent, Sally, Ruby, Miles Fender, Daphne, Hirsh, Glenn Hamilton, Ember, Lemuel Newman, Sullivan, Winona Robb, Lucas, Marianne Hall, Hayden, Gresyn, Hunter, Garrett and Harley Fender; and her great great grandchildren, Oliver, Theo and Hudson Scherer. She is also survived by her family and took great pride in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
