It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene Gerber of Sugarcreek, Ohio, born in Ragersville, Ohio, who passed away on May 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Yackley and Helen Yackley (Rippl); her spouse D. Dean Gerber; her granddaughter Heather Lynne Gerber; and her brother Larry "Butch" Yakley.
She is survived by: her sons, Todd Gerber (Valerie) of Sugarcreek, Kevin Gerber (Jill) of North Canton and Bryan Gerber (Karen) of North Canton; her grandchildren, Aaron Gerber (Cara), Katie King (Jon), Brittany Gerber (Jeff Horning), Brek Gerber (Susan), Caitlyn Smith (Michael), Hailey Marfield (Michael) and Ashton Gerber; her great grandchildren, Lucas Gerber, Micah Gerber, Emma Gerber, Layla Gerber and Isaac Gerber; her grandchildren, Myiah Marfield, Hudson Marfield, Avery Smith, Trey Smith, Dillon King and Annabelle King; her siblings, Gerald "Bud" Yakley (Beverly) of Sugarcreek, Carrie Clipson (Keith) of Vermillion and Joel Yakley (Patty) of Ragersville; and her sister-in-law Janie Yakley of Millersburg.
