It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherry Smith of Sugarcreek, Ohio, who passed away on December 22, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Sherry leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Potts and Dorothy Potts (McDaniels); and her brother Neil Potts (Norma Jean Hostetler). She is survived by: her sons, Scott Smith of New Philadelphia and Chad Smith of Dover; and her grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Lizzie Smith and Garrett Smith.
