She was predeceased by: her parents, George Beard and Beulah Neal Beard Davidson; her son Allen Ray Stephens; and her brothers, Bruce Beard and Ben Davidson.
She is survived by: her husband Edsel Hill; her son Walter Leroy Stephens; her siblings, Shirley Myers, Lana Meadows, Debbie Gibbs, Sheila Dople and Bryan Beard; and her half-brothers, Junior Beard and Robert Davidson. She is also survived by three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
