He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Dale Guiler and Myrle Delores Poulton Guiler; his son David Lee "Buckwheat" Guiler; his sister Tammy Gerst; and his brother-in-law Tim Huffman.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Elliott Guiler; his daughters, Tana Guiler of Marysville and Sena Guiler of Columbus, Ohio; his stepdaughters, Lacy Brewer (Chris) of Marietta, Ashley McKnight of Akron and Amanda Brotton of Caldwell, Ohio; his siblings, Sharon Kay Smith (Terry) of Bethesda, Delores Huffman of Barnesville, Carolyn McElfresh of Beverly, Dale Guiler (Joy) of Caldwell, Ohio, Rick Guiler (Lisa) of Waterford and Bryan Guiler (Jeannie) of Jerusalem, Ohio; and his grandchild Cameron Guiler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
