She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Chapman and Lois Hummel Chapman; her husband Jerry S. "Country" Hood; and her sisters, Linda Schartiger and Loretta Chapman.
She is survived by: her son Jerry J. "County" Hood (Sarah) of Summerfield; her grandchildren, Aleah Woods, Dixie Hood and Aaron Hood; her sister Laura Life of Akron; and her cousin Cheryl Musgrave. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
