He was predeceased by : his parents, Russell E. VanHouten and Ilo E. VanHouten (Howard); and his siblings, Howard VanHouten and Ruth Brokaw. He is survived by : his wife Cheryl; his daughters, Heather Kritter (Rob) of Gahanna and Mindy Bilyeu (Bruce) of Galena; and his grandsons, Jake, Max, Luke and Rowan.
