He is survived by: his children, Richard McLaughlin of Columbus and Susan Shockley (Rowe) of Westerville; and his grandchildren, Nicole Kiser (Nick), Lauren See (Josh) and Andrew Hoffman (Yasmin). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
