He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Smeltzer and Ruth Smeltzer (Barber); and his brother Jeff Smeltzer. He is survived by: his wife Christine Smeltzer (Kolinski); his daughters, Andrea Whaley (Jason) and Elizabeth Doriot (Ray); his grandsons, Billy and Charlie Kazmierczak; and his sister Carolyn Lynch.
