It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlene J. Bloomer in Swanton, Ohio, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Bower (Beil) and Gordon Bower; and her brothers, Harlan, Richard Bower and Harold Bower.

She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Beerbower (Keith), Teresa Deffely (Michael) and Melanie Wolf (Larry); her brother Robert Bower (Janice); and her sisters-in-law, Sheri Bower, Carol Watson (Bloomer), Marilyn Herriott (Bloomer), Kathie Donaldson (Dave) and Patricia Bloomer Kirkpatrick (Keith). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Shiloh Christian Union Church (2100 Co Rd 5, Delta, OH 43515).
