He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Cletus and Isabel Helena Smith (Myers); his sons, Clyde Smith, Mark Smith and Paul Smith; and his brothers, Charles, John, Patrick and William Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Mossing (Maxine); his children, Mary Ann McGill, Stephen Smith (Annette), Angela Smith, Louis Smith, Carl Smith (Angela) and Donald Smith (Christy); and his siblings, Rosemary Ott, Lucille Smith, Helen Gillen (Richard), Theresa McArthur (Jeff), Robert and Jerry Smith. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
