Evelyn Hassen Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 7, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Evelyn Hassen of Swanton, Ohio, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beatrice Spradling and Claude Spradling; her husband Bob Hassen; and her children, Art Hassen, Mary Lawson, Eddie Hassen and Patti Hassen.
She is survived by: her children, Fred Hassen (Barb), Linda Nagy (Mike), Paul Hassen and Rob Hassen (Pam); and her children-in-law, Marsha Hassen and Ron Lawson. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was a longtime member of Holy Trinity's Alter Rosary Society and enjoyed nearly five decades of friendship and laughter with her beloved Bunco group, which met faithfully until the pandemic brought their gatherings to an end.
