He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Black and Laura Black (Ewing); and his brother Donald L. Black. He is survived by: his wife Catherine A. "Kate" Harris; his children, Marcia O'Neill (Mike), Paul Black (Kay) and Michael Black (Pam); and his grandchildren, Kristen, Michael (Jaime), Timothy (Renee), Gregory (Roxie), Lauren (Bruce), Emily (Kyle), Evan and Erica.
