We announce the death of Gary L. Doren of Swanton, Ohio, who passed away on August 25, 2026, at the age of 79. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheila; his parents, Harold Doren and Lucille Doren (Fauble); his children, Jeffrey Doren (Bonny), Jennifer Hutchison (Jon), Jared Doren, Jason Doren and Amy Stuard (Joseph); his grandchildren, Cole, Kristen, Lane, Callie, Zane, Luke, Aubrey, Britton, Braelynne and Brynlee; his great grandchildren, Lincoln and Violet; his siblings, Rebecca Dunkle (Todd) and Bill Doren (Lucy); Lucille Doren. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Homes - Swanton (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558).
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
