He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Bloom and Minnie Opal Bloom (Girdham); and his siblings, Kenneth, Vernon, Junior, Ronald Bloom, Opal Strong, Thelma Wittenburg, Betty Black and Rae Donna Sheets.
He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Howard; his children, Teri Onweller (Frank), Tim Bloom (Kris), Mike Bloom (Nancy) and Steve Bloom (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Alaina Roberts (Chase), Kaylee Brinkman (Brent), Paige Mangotic (Mike), Julie Scholl (Rob), Selena Becker (Morgan), Tommy Bloom (Teri), Cody Bloom (Kayla), Carrie Shepherd (Matt), Shane Bloom (Victoria), Liam Bloom (Jami), Zach Bloom (Lexi) and Lucas Bloom.
