It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Theresa Elton of Swanton, Ohio, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Mossing and Flossie Mossing (Barth); her siblings, Mark Mossing, Joseph Mossing and Mary Ann Wymer; her son-in-law Mike Auth; and her parents-in-law, Marjorie and Floyd Elton, Jr..

She is survived by: her husband Darryl Elton; her children, Bill Elton (Kelly), Kimberly Kahl (Brian) and Bridgett Auth; her grandchildren, Grace, Elizabeth, Zachary Elton, Kaylee, Bryce, Cooper and Kelsey Kahl; her siblings, Robert Mossing (Nancy), Judy Hite (Lyle), Patricia Mossing, John Mossing (Jeanne), Becky Ehrsam (Ronald), Bernadette Mierzwinski (Ken) and Michael Mossing; and her sister-in-law Janice Mossing. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
