He was predeceased by: his father George John Bayer; and his former wife Carla Bayer (Werner). He is survived by: his wife Gayle Bayer (Yager); his children, Robin Dean (Bill), Hollie Tokish (Stephen) and Michael Bayer (Jessica); and his caregiver Dr. Richard Phinney.
