He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wilson and Doris Maxine Vance (Wiltrout); his wife Jeanette; his brother Doug Vance; and his close friend Tinker.
He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Johnson (Eric) and Tony Vance (Alesha); his grandchildren, TJ (Konner), Landon (Michelle), Brooke (Zachary), Livie (Noah), Alex of Abby, EJ and Alexa (CJ); his great grandchildren, Rory, Emersyn, Charlee, Aainna and Khloe; and his brother-in-law Bob Wertz (Robin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (204 Chestnut St, Swanton, OH 43558). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
