With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thelma Jane Scherzer of Swanton, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on June 29, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Daniel William and Loretta Mae Eldred (Townsend); her husband Dick; and her children, Michael Scherzer and Karen Reed.
She is survived by : her children, Sherry Kozlowski (Leroy), Barbara Deck (John Kramer), Ross Scherzer (Emily) and Jeffrey Scherzer (Cindi); her sister Brenda Cunningham; and her sister-in-law Catherine Eldred. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Parish or Promedica Ebeid Hospice.
