He was predeceased by: his parents, William Adam and Esta Marie Burkhart (Christman); his siblings, Carolyn Marie and Robert Neil; and his sisters-in-law, Nira and Nancy.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Lee Burkhart (Miller); his children, Regina Lynn Burkhart of Belpre, Carla Mae Phillips (Stuward) of Columbus, Darin Lee Burkhart (Sarah) of Lewisville and Douglas Adam Burkhart (Danetta) of Lewisville; his grandchildren, Wendy Alison Phillips of Phoenix, AZ, Carson Tecumseh Phillips of Philadelphia, PA, Cierra Riann Burkhart of Lewisville, Hayley McKenna Phillips of Columbus, Emily Morrison (Wesley Dick) of Lewisville and Hunter Knowlton (Brooklyn Michael) of Graysville; his brothers, John Edward Burkhart of Lewisville and Donald Eugene Burkhart (Lanie) of Caldwell; and his great grandchildren, Hensley Mae and Riley Ann Dick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Community Center (36877 OH-260, Lewisville, OH 43754). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
