He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Wilcox and Helen Wilcox; his sister Nancy; and his nieces, Teresa and Tammy.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Birr; his children, Erin Thompson (Jason) and Ryan King; and his grandchildren, Nicholas and Coral.
