He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Smith and Margaret Smith. He is survived by: his wife Diane Wilkie Smith; his siblings, Kai Jorgensen (Jerry) and Rick Smith (Jackie); and his nieces and nephews, Nathan Smith (Anna), Adam Smith (Lauryn), Patrick Smith and Kendall Smith. He is also survived by grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Olivet Lutheran Church (5840 Monroe St, Sylvania, OH 43560). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
