He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Raab and Thelma Raab (Fox); his brothers, Ronald and Leslie; and his granddaughter Sarah Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Ryan (Erin) and Lori; his grandchildren, Raeleigh, Caroline and Henry; his cousin Carol Strawinski; and his sister-in-law Rhoda Miller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggests donations in Howard's name to the Alzheimer's Association or Ronald McDonald House Charities.
