She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Bendheim and Helen Bendheim (Meyers); and her in-laws, Edward A. Burns and Virginia Davis (James). She is survived by: her husband Michael Burns; her daughters, Barbara Riggs (Todd) and Amy Siegel (Trey); her grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Charles, Carlos, Elizabeth, Henry Riggs, AJ and Claire Siegel; and her siblings-in-law, Edward Burns (Kay), Robert Burns (Kathie) and Janice Burns. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Jane's wish was for support to be directed to PBS, NPR, or a charity of you choice.
