With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Arlene Beattie (Sylvania, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean left this world on October 4, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Jean may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jean touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Gentit and Mabel Gentit; her husband Kenny; and her son Ronald Kenneth Beattie. She is survived by: her children, Susan Bentley (Steve), Shirley Stanton (Rodney) and Mark Beattie (Janine).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Reeb Funeral Home (5712 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
