It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ott (Sylvania, Ohio), who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Ott; her daughters, Adele Zalewski and Charlotte Wohlfarth; her sister Corinne Fischer (Bill); and her parents, Bernice Zumbrunn (Walter) and Golden Hicker.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette Cowell (Randall); her son-in-law Paul Wohlfarth; and her grandchildren, Heather Wood (Mark), Stacey Davis (Michael), Nicholas Wohlfarth (Alicia), Christopher Wohlfarth (Heather) and Chase Cowell (Rachel). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reeb Home (5712 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family suggests tributes in the form of contributions to Swanton Valley Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, 401 W. Airport Highway, Swanton, OH 43558.
