Ruth Ormsby Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Ruth Ormsby of Sylvania, Ohio. Ruth, born on February 2, 1925 in Archbold, Ohio, passed away on November 4, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Ormsby to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Steinbrecher and Amelia Steinbrecher (Graber); her husband Don Ormsby; her sister Marilyn Quinn (Tom); and her stepson Larry Ormsby.
She is survived by: her friends, Raye and Emily; her daughters, Kim Nagy and Robin Scott (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Dawn Earhart (Rick), Derek Ormsby (Julie), Scott Ormsby (Amy), Donna Nagy (Taylor Szopinski), Amanda Owens (Trevor), Zoe Scott and Regan Scott; and her friends, Carolyn, Bev, Kathleen, Becky, Paula, Beth, Kiersten, Kayla, Alison, Jodi, Morgan, Maggie and Ashley. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, 10 (soon to be 12!) great great grandchildren, and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Reeb Funeral Home (5712 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
