He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlena Gertrude Carter and William Andrews Beard; his stepmother Leona; and his former wives, Lauren Marriott and Elizabeth Beard.
He is survived by: his daughters, Peggy (Mike), Suzanna (Matt) and Cheryl (Jason); his stepchildren, Danny (Kristie), Dawn and Jenny Jo; his children, Mike, Aaron, Melissa and Bill; his grandchildren, Alexandria (Seth), Nicholas (Caitlyn), Christopher (Maddie), Zackary (Bella), Katie (Braden), Nikole (Zander), Aurelia and Alyssa; his great grandchildren, Noah, River, Max, Adalynn and Charlie Jane; and his sisters, Linda, Karen, Joyce, Tela, Denise and Diane. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter #035, Toledo, or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
