He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Ord and Alvin Ord; his parents-in-law, Wilma and Verne Hinerman; his brothers-in-law, Jack Slavin and Don Barcroft; and his nibling Donnie Hinerman.
He is survived by: his wife Leah Ord; his children, Robbie Miller (Steve), Verne Ord (Paula Evans), Stephanie Ash (Steve Yonker), Lee Codner (Mike) and Jaye Ord; his grandchildren, Kami Athari (Chris), Jamie Morris (Ben), Kyle Ord (Lisa), Michael Ash (Mandi), Matthew Ash (Courtney), Brandi Davidson (John), Shauna Chapman (Ryan), Morgan Hoover and Drew Hoover; his siblings-in-law, Rita Slavin, Tene Barcroft and Todd Hinerman (Sue); and his nieces, Shannon Slavin, Dawn Barcroft, Laura Dent, Brenda Hinerman, Lori Myers, Amy Stallsmith and Wendy Wilson. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anderson-McDaniel Funeral Home (590 E Main St, Pomeroy, OH 45769). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Southern Elementary PTO.
