He is survived by: his wife Linda Friend; his children, Michelle Flaherty (Tom), Eddie Friend (Jaime) and Jennifer McKinney (Mark); his grandchildren, Andrew McClary, Owen McKinney and Isadora McKinney; his mother Shirley Friend; his siblings, Marvin Friend, Mark Friend and Belinda Soulsby; his sister-in-law Mary Friend; and his cousin Chuddy Searles. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
