He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Bissler and Martha M. Bissler (Winkler); and his siblings, Mary Evelyn Bissler, Joseph L. Bissler, Paul Joseph Bissler, Joseph John Bissler, William L. Bissler and Mary Margaret Richards (Bissler).
He is survived by: his wife Janet L. Bissler (Crosier); his children, Denise Evans (Ted), Debbie Beitzel (Smokey), Donna Ward (Jim), Dave Bissler (Kathy) and Doreen Madonio (Danny); and his siblings, Betty Karaffa (Bissler) of Wheat Ridge and Daniel Bissler of Oceanside, California.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Catholic Charites of Portage and Stark Counties, 219 West Main St, Ravenna, OH 44266.
