George Abood Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Abood of Tallmadge, Ohio, who passed away on July 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Abood to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent George (Ann Abood); his wife Margaret (Speaks); and his siblings, Nicholas Abood, Irene "Sis" Abood and Lillian Bagnoli.
He is survived by: his children, Diane Abood, Marie (Scott Willis), Michael (Stephanie Abood) and Beth (David DeVitis); his grandchildren, Rachel, Sarah Abood, Max and Mia Willis; his close friend Toni Pogwizd; his in-laws, Barb Abood, Joe Bagnoli, Dorothy Pfeil, Bill and Barb Speaks; and also, Ron Pogwizd, Kathryn Gander (Brett) and Brydon Boxler. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home - Tallmadge (17 Southwest Ave, Tallmadge, OH 44278). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Trinity Parish (300 E Tallmadge Ave, Akron, OH 44310).
