He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. McKay and Sarah McKay (Clapp); his wife Elaine B. McKay (Bletsch); and his siblings, William McKay, Frances White and James McKay.
He is survived by: his children, Brett McKay (Judy) of Macedonia, Beth Mostyn (Vic) of Coventry Township and Kevin McKay (Judy) of Huntington, PA; his grandchildren, Chris Stone (Dave), Katie McKay (Shannon Reisdorf), Brian Postma (Melissa), Laura Burrell (Ballan), Kyle McKay (Rebecca), Kellie Regan (Jeremy), Sean McKay (Marie), Corey McKay (Joan) and Ryan McKay (Breanna); his great grandchildren, Maggie, Emma Stone, Lily, Josie Postma, Jackson, Addison Clark, Claire McKay, Leonidas Regan, Josiah McKay and Kieran McKay-Bouchard; and his stepgrandsons, Connor Daly-Bouchard and Desmond Bouchard-Guenette.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to Traditions Hospice or First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls.
