We announce the death of Gregory Allen Markle of Tallmadge, Ohio, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 62. Gregory will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Gregory will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Gregory will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Gregory’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Markle and Margaret Markle (Harshbarger); and his grandmothers, Alice Harshbarger and Phylinda Markle. He is survived by: his sister Melissa Thomas (Markle); his nephews, Sean Thomas (Chelsea), Ryan Thomas (Jordan Turner) and Mathew Thomas (Desirae); and his friend Lee Bowers Allan Disantis. He is also survived by many great-nieces and a great-nephew.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home (1930 Front St, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221).
