He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his daughter Karen Pridgen; his parents, Chris Jensen and Heartha Jensen; his brother-in-law Earl Gray; and his siblings, Joanna Gray and James Jensen.

He is survived by: his son Tom; his daughter-in-law Carol Jensen; his daughter Lynn; his sons-in-law, Pete Battista and Don Pridgen; and his grandchildren, Julie, Will Kaiser, Chris, Misty Jensen, Maggie, Austin Troyer, Sarah, Mason Creager, Adam, Ashley Pridgen, Patrick Pridgen, Valerie, Jacob Morgan and Annie Jones.
