He was predeceased by : his parents, Claus Emil and Emma Alwine Daufeldt Eggers; his wife Ermina Burgardt Eggers; and his siblings, Karl Heinz Eggers, Emil Eggers and Herma Tulin.

He is survived by : his children, Emil Eggers (Marietta) of Dayton, Hanna Lore Cirjak (John "Jack") of Tallmadge and Mary Ann Luette (David); his grandchildren, Melissa Salsbury (Matt), Jessica Gable (Richard), Andrew Eggers (Christy) and Matthew Luette (Michael); and his great grandchildren, Max, Micky Salsbury, Gianna Eggers, Luke, Dean and Neil Gable.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the McDonald-Aeberli Funeral Home, Inc. (238 Crowe Ave, Mars, PA 16046). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kilian Church (7076 Franklin Rd, Cranberry Twp, PA 16066).
