He was predeceased by : his father Ralph Schenk; and his brother Jack Schenk. He is survived by : his wife Sue; his sons, David Schenk (Tina), Matthew Schenk and Michael Schenk (Katie); his grandchildren, Jacqueline Cleland (Charles), Samantha Schenk, Parker Schenk and Tanner Schenk; his great grandchildren, Connor and Constance; his sister Cindy Schenk; and his sister-in-law Mable Schenk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Thorn Township Fire Department, 13770 Zion Rd., Thornville, OH 43076.
