He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Smith and Bernice Smith (Thompson); and his brother William Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith (Gibson); his daughters, Connie Murphy (Patrick), Melissa Kaye Atkinson (Nick) and Ashley Cain; his grandchildren, Cameron Murphy, Paige Murphy, Caeleb Murphy, Patience Murphy, Autumn Atkinson, Brie Atkinson, Taylor Cain, Braden Cain and Addison Cain; and his sister Bonnie Flowers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
