With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel DeMatteo of Thornville, Ohio, born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 14, 2022 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by : his parents, Nicola DiMattio and Angeline DiMattio (DiGiovanni); his wife Elizabth Ring (Betty); and his siblings, Carmella O'Searo and Peter DeMatteo.
He is survived by : his children, Thomas DeMatteo (Fran) of Vienna, OH and Lori Toskin (Mark) of Thornville, OH; his grandsons, Samuel DeMatteo (Natasha) of Dayton, PA, Matthew Toskin (Elizabeth Stringer) of Newark, OH and Anthony Toskin of North Canton, OH; his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Gianna, Harper, Maksymilian and Lucia; and his pets, Magner and Arwen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
