With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sherry L. Root of Thurston, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Larry D. Root. She is survived by: her children, Bob George of Lancaster, Kenny George (Bobbi) of Baltimore, Shane Copeland (Brenda) of Thurston and Sherry Smart of Lancaster, Ohio; and her stepsons, Tim Root and Larry.
