She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Burns and Helen Burns (Baumgardner); her husband Gene Hoover; her son Genie Hoover; her grandson Justin Hoover; her great grandchild Louisa Fox; and her brothers, Paul Burns, Tom Burns, Gene Burns, Alan Burns, Buckie Burns and Dick Burns.

She is survived by: her children, Peg Fox (Michael) of Bloomville, Joe Hoover (Karen) of Tiffin and Jeff Hoover (Sarah) of Tiffin; and her grandchildren, Brandon Fox (Trisha), Bill Fox (Melissa), Brent Fox, Paul Fortney (Kendy), Alisha Kessler (Daniel) and Aric Hoover (Sarah). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
