She was predeceased by: her husbands, George Chapin, Harold Struble and Melvin Newell; her daughter Susan Marie Hoy; her son-in-law Delbert Hoy; her siblings, Richard Harding and Eugenia Harding; and her parents, Irvin Harding and Marian Harding (Metzger).

She is survived by: her children, Sandra Lynn Smith (Glenn), Carole Cobb (Dan), Anita Schaible (Michael) and Keith Chapin (Monica); and her grandchildren, Ashley Rose Kaylor (Jason), Glenn Victor Smith III (Melissa), Melanie Cox (Nick), Ryan Cobb, Anna Moody (Sam), Eric Schaible (Paige), Lucas Schaible (Sommer), Kevin Chapin (Melanie McDaniels), Kara Uchtman (Evan) and Kyle Chapin (Lissette). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, a sister-in-law, nieces and a nephew, cousins, and friends.
